Hands-On Operations Help · Kansas City & nationwide remote support

Fix the problem. Give your team a better way to work.

I’m Scott Wolfer. I help owners turn recurring operational problems into processes their teams can run.

When work falls behind, mistakes repeat, or your systems make a simple job difficult, I work with you and your team to find the cause, put the improvement in place, and check that it works.

What is costing you time and money?

You should not have to solve the same problem every week.

01

Work falls behind—even with more people.

Find where work waits, gets handled twice, or depends on one person to keep it moving.

02

The same mistakes keep coming back.

Make the instructions, training, responsibilities, and exception handling clear enough to use every day.

03

Your software is creating extra work.

Connect the system to how the job actually gets done. Test the change with the people who will use it.

Find the right starting point

The goal: your team can run it

A working improvement. A clear handoff.

A recommendation is only useful when people can put it into practice. We agree on the result, the work involved, and how we will know it is ready to hand over.

A process people can follow

Practical instructions for the everyday work, with clear steps for the exceptions.

People who know what to do

Training for the team, an owner for the process, and backup coverage agreed with you.

A way to check the result

Simple measures and a review of the changed process against the agreed acceptance criteria.

Ongoing support is your choice.

There is no required Wolfers Way support subscription. The project includes the support and handoff agreed in your scope. If you want help after that, we can agree on separate support—you decide what you need.

A savings-share payment plan, if selected, is a project fee arrangement. It does not require you to buy ongoing support. Any outside software or vendor costs are agreed separately.
Experience built inside the operation

I know what a change asks of the people doing the work.

I started on the warehouse floor and progressed into process, inventory, systems, and operating leadership. My experience connects the work itself with the people and systems responsible for it.

1–4 fewer steps

In selected prior workflows, I helped remove unnecessary handling and establish clearer routes for orders that did not fit the standard packing process.

From the floor to the system—and through the change.

My experience includes helping grow an operating shift from roughly four people to more than 30, supporting system launches, and developing procedures, training, and operating controls.

These are examples from prior operating experience, not Wolfers Way client testimonials or a forecast of your results.

The 4D Method

Understand it. Improve it. Put it to work.

01

Listen to you and your team. Watch how the work really happens.

02

Diagnose

Find the cause. Establish the starting point and what needs to change.

03

Design

Agree on the process, responsibilities, scope, and measures.

04

Deliver

Implement, test, train, and review readiness for the agreed handoff.

Start with one problem

Meet Scott. Discuss the work. Decide together.

Tell me what keeps getting in the way. We’ll discuss the problem, whether I’m the right fit, and a practical starting point. Sending a message or meeting with me does not create a bill.

Understand the evaluation and fees

Clear before you hire me.

We agree on the evaluation fee, scope, responsibilities, timing, and payment terms before you commit. The evaluation fee is due when you hire me and credited 100% toward your total fees. If you decide not to hire me, there is no evaluation charge.

For work that produces measurable expense reductions, we can agree on a savings-based project fee. Other projects use separately agreed fees.

For measurable cost reductions

A project fee tied to verified savings.

When an improvement can produce measurable expense reductions, we can agree on one of these options. Time freed up is capacity until it reduces an actual expense. Projects such as training or system adoption may use separately agreed fees.

One-time project fee

The first month’s verified net savings

The fee equals the verified net savings from the first full month after implementation and stabilization. Once paid, that agreed improvement has no continuing savings-share fee.

Spread the project payments

10% each month for 18 months

Pay 10% of verified net savings in each of 18 consecutive months, starting after implementation and stabilization. Months with no verified savings have no savings-share fee. This can cost more in total than the one-time option. After month 18, the savings-share fee ends.

Clear before you commit

Your evaluation payment counts toward the total.

The evaluation fee is due when you hire me and credited 100% toward total engagement fees. If you do not hire me, there is no evaluation charge. Before hiring, we agree in writing on how the evaluation payment is treated if total earned fees are lower than that payment.

We also agree on starting costs, qualifying savings, volume and service changes, implementation costs, evidence, and responsibilities. Savings-share payments do not require an ongoing support subscription; additional support is optional and separately agreed.
