Operations consulting · Kansas City + remote

Less repeat work. Clearer handoffs. An operation your team can run.

I’m Scott Wolfer. I help businesses find avoidable costs, fix recurring problems and put practical improvements into everyday work—from office handoffs and customer support to inventory, shipping and fulfillment.

I look for weak handoffs, hidden workarounds, and avoidable costs—before they become the next customer issue or daily fire. Then I work with your team to test agreed improvements, train the people involved, and hand over a process they can run.

First conversation: no charge. Scope and fees agreed before you hire me.

Prior operating experience

Follow a change from problem to practice.

In one documented month from a prior operating role, 6,148 shipments used a simpler mobile workflow. The work combined process design, operating requirements, testing and coordination with the team, IT and the technology provider.

This is Scott’s operating account, not a Wolfers Way client result or a guarantee of savings. Handling estimates and financial results are explained separately.

Return on improvement

Improve the work. Keep the gains.

The aim is lower recurring costs, a more reliable operation, and a better working day: less chasing, rework, and firefighting, with more time to lead and get the job done.

For eligible projects, my savings-share fee is 10% of qualifying verified net savings for one agreed term of 6–18 months. The fee ends; a sustained improvement can keep benefiting your company. Flat fees are available for defined work. Your evaluation payment counts toward total fees.

Turn “we keep dealing with this” into a clearer next step.

Prepare an earlier-control plan, make a handoff clearer, or organize an operating issue for IT. Choose a familiar scenario, add your details, and leave with a draft your team can discuss. No account or email required.

What happens next?

  1. I read your request. We start with what is happening in your business, even if you are not sure why.
  2. We have a conversation. We discuss the problem and whether I can help. There is no charge for that conversation.
  3. You decide. After the agreed evaluation, you decide whether to hire me. If you proceed, the $500 half-day or $1,000 full-day evaluation payment is due and credited 100% toward total project fees. Project scope, deliverables, timing, and fees are agreed before implementation.
